How to disable search suggestions in Chrome on Android?

Search suggestions while often helpful, but sometimes they might feel a bit distracting while searching. So if you want to remove search suggestions in Chrome on Android, here's how to do it - 

1. Tap on the three dot icon to open the menu of Chrome browser. 

2. After opening the menu, tap on Settings. 

3. The settings page will now open, similar to the screenshot below. 

 4. Then we'll have to select the second option, that is, Sync and Google services.

5. Now tap on Autocomplete searches and URLs to turn off search suggestions for your Chrome browser. 

Now the toggle switch should be greyed out and look similar to the picture below.

From now on, search suggestions will not appear as you search for queries on the address bar of Chrome for Android.
