Variety - A great wallpaper changer for Linux



Today, we'll look at a great wallpaper changer for Linux called Variety. It rotates your wallpaper on your set intervals using local pictures or from various online sources.

It can download wallpapers from Unsplash, Bing photo of the day, Wallhaven, Desktoppr, flickr, reddit and various other sources. You can set various time intervals for your wallpaper to change like change after every 10 minutes, 20 minutes and so on. You can also apply various filters to your wallpapers by going on the Effects tab.


How to install Variety



To download Variety wallpaper changer for Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, elementary OS and other Ubuntu derivatives, follow the commands:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install variety

To get the latest version, you can use the official PPA by using the commands below:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:peterlevi/ppa
